Damien Calvert

I grew up in Melbourne, Australia. As a child and teenager, my passion was motorsport. I raced go karts
and test drove Formula Fords. Off of the track I did a lot of surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and
skydiving (yes, I am an adrenaline junkie). I enjoy traveling around the world, which is how I met my wife
who is from Rapid City. After living together for two and a half years in Melbourne, we moved to South
Dakota. We have two amazing kids who keep busy with their activities. I am a bit of a jack of all trades
and enjoy diving into building and renovation projects in my spare time as well as photography. I spent
over 20 years as a printer, which makes one of my favorite parts of photography, finding the best quality
print for each shot.
Printing could be a lonely business at times, which is why I went into sales about four years ago. Sales
allows me to work directly with customers, helping them solve problems and find products
that work for them. I feel that I excel in building relationships, listening, and being honest with my
customers.
Hobbies & Interests:
My main hobbies are racing, photography, and gaming. I am an avid Formula 1 fan and still follow
Australian Rules Football.
My burning desire is to: race again.
